My Beauty Firsts

Hello lovely readers I hope you have a great weekend lined up. If you follow me on Twitter you'll know I had a horrible cold last week but I'm feeling better now, hooray! Lately I have been thinking about my relationship with beauty and beauty products and how my attitude to makeup has changed over the years. So today I thought I would share with you "My Beauty Firsts", I'm going to be sharing the first time I wore certain products and so on. I hope you enjoy!

First Time I Wore Makeup
I can't remember the first time I wore makeup specifically but I know I was 13 and I put it on in the girls loos of good ol' Barton Court Grammar School, ah memories.

First Foundation
I feel this is a rite of passage for most girls my age, the first foundation I ever wore was Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse.

First Beauty Blunder
Wearing bright green eyeshadow in just like a block on my eye. Ugh *covers face in shame* I don't know why I thought this was a good idea so please don't ask.

First Hair Dye
I first dyed my hair when I was 17, I just dyed it a lighter brown, nothing too crazy. I think I used L'Oreal's Casting Creme Gloss in Chocolate.

First Lipstick
I didn't start wearing lipstick until a few years ago, for my first time wearing lipstick I went with a simple nude shade that I think was by L'Oreal that I lost within a week of buying. Smooth.

First Time I Contoured
I only started contouring last year, I gave it a go in the privacy of my house and it was a disaster (as I expected) but I practised and got better.

First Fake Eyelashes
I first wore fake eyelashes on a night out at uni, well I tried to wear them but they annoyed me so much that I took them off straight away. I can't remember what brand they were. I've only worn them a few times after that.

First Beauty Injury
It was either accidentally burning my ear with my hair straighteners (I still have the scar) or when I put my eyelash curlers too close and caught my eyelid in them. Yeah that hurt like a bitch!

So those are a few of "My Beauty Firsts", I hope you enjoyed this post. What are some of your "Beauty Firsts"?

Thanks for reading!
