Happy Monday everyone! I hope you've got a fun week lined up. Today I'm talking about books, I love to read but I never seem to have enough time. Last week I decided I'd had enough of staring at a laptop screen, applying for jobs and feeling like my brain has turned to jelly. So I've decided to dedicate a time in the day for reading. I own so many books some of the them I've never read or some I really want to revisit. I've chosen three books to share with you that I haven't read before but really want to.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S.Lewis.
OK I'm fairly sure I've never read this. As a child I remember watching the animated film of this book and loving it, so I've wanted to read the book for a while. Four children enter the land called Narnia through a wardrobe where they must defeat the White Witch who has placed a curse on Narnia.

The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly
I may have already devoured half of this book and I'm loving it. 12 year old David has lost his mother and is struggling to adjust to his new life with his new step mother and half brother. One night he hears his mother's voice and enters a new world where all the fairytale characters live.

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
In Victorian London a magical circus appears. I don't know much more about this book so I'm looking forward to finding out more.

I'm really looking forward to reading more and reading these stories. I may review the books when I've finished them. I hope you enjoyed this post, what are you reading at the moment? Do you have any book recommendations?

Thanks for reading!

  1. I've read the Night Circus and it's one of my absolute faves! It's a little mysterious and dark and magical but it is such a good read! Have you ever read Miss Peregrine's Home for Parculiar Children? I feel like you'd love that series! XO -Kim
