Exciting News!

Hello lovely readers! First off I'm sorry that my posts haven't been sticking to their schedule but for the last couple of weeks I have been rushing around like a crazy person. After reading this post you'll understand why.

So as the title suggests I have some exciting news, nope I'm not engaged, nope I'm not pregnant. I am moving... to South Korea!! I have hinted in a few posts about a career I was pursuing and if you read my 100th post you'll know that it has been a dream of mine to go to South Korea and teach English. Well dreams do come true and that is exactly what I am doing! Dan is coming with me to teach too so I'm not going it alone.

We both are going to be working and living in Chungju City, a little bit outside the capital of South Korea, Seoul. I am so excited to spend a year in a country and culture that I have been fascinated by for so long and the fact I get to go with my boyfriend just makes it even better.

We are flying out to Korea on Monday, hence why things have been so hectic lately. Of course as well as being excited I am scared too (I'm always going to be honest about my feelings especially to you lovely readers) I don't speak fluent Korean, I've never lived in a foreign county before and I've never been on a long haul flight. But being scared is all part of experience and luckily I have someone's hand to hold the whole way.

I am also super excited as because Dan and i need to do a visa run our school we will be working for is paying for us to spend 2 or 3 nights in Japan!! Anyone who knows me knows I've dreamt of going to Japan since I was a little girl, again, dreams do come true!

So will I still be writing In Ella's Element? Of course I will! I'm currently scheduling a load of posts but obviously as this is such massive change and my laptop has decided to die (RIP) there might be a little period where I am not writing but hopefully that won't last for long, just bear with me. But expect a lot of posts about Korea (Korean beauty products are definitely not going to show up on this blog *cough* *cough*).

I'm so excited for this new adventure and I am looking forward to sharing it with all of you. If you have ever taught in a foreign county and have some tips I would love to read hem!

Have you ever lived abroad? Have you ever visited South Korea?

Thanks fore reading!
