Autumn Beauty Look

Hello lovely readers, as I feel like I haven’t done a beauty post in forever, guess what? I’m doing a beauty post today, yay! Autumn seems to be all anyone can think/ talk about (myself included) so today’s post is going to be a look at one of my favourite autumn beauty looks. So let’s get to it…

Just Came Back From A Walk

Ok, I’m not sure anyone else calls this trend what I have named it but it gives you a good idea of what it is I’m talking about. Rosy cheeks, bright eyes and windswept hair. A look that says you’ve just come back from a brisk walk outside, while you’ve actually been at home curled up on the sofa.

In order to achieve this look you’ll need blusher, and lots of it. Pick a rosy pink shade and apply as much as you like, depended on how flushed you want to look. Apply to the apples of your cheeks and sweep upwards. For this look I would try using Seventeen’s Cheek Stamp in the shade Blushing as these stamps are really easy to use and give great colour for reasonable prices.

To get the bright eye look, try eye brightening drops from they are not irritable and really make your eyes shine. If you aren’t comfortable using eye drops or you want to add extra brightness to your eyes try using a white eyeliner on your water line. I really love using Rimmel’s Soft Khol Kajal Eye Pencil it applies really well and doesn’t irritate my eyes like some eye liners do.

For your lips go for a natural look just bring out the colour in your lips by using a lip scrub, I recommend Lush’s Mint Julips as it’s really gentle on the lips but makes them super soft. Or you could try brushing your lips with a toothbrush, yes I know it sounds weird but brushing your lips with a toothbrush is a great way of exfoliating them and stimulating the blood flow. This will bring out the colour in your lips and will fight against the dry lips that autumn brings to so many of us.

In order to get that windswept look for your hair use products that will give your hair a lot of texture a favourite of mine is VO5’s Give MeTexture Spray. I’ve been using this for years and it’s great of I want to make my hair look a little on the wild side, just spritz it in and ruffle you hair and you’re good to go. You could also try and letting your hair dry naturally after washing for an undone look.

I hope you enjoyed reading my tips on how to get this autumn beauty look. Is this a look you would try? What are your favourite autumn beauty looks?
