Skills You'll Master In Your 20s

Happy Saturday readers! Being in your 20s is a strange time, you are suddenly flung into adulthood with very little warning or preparation. All of a sudden you are expected to know what you are doing with your life and have yourself “figured out”, which of course you will not have a clue (and that is totally fine). Although you often feel lost your 20s you do master many skills which will come in handy throughout the rest of your life. These are just ten of them…

  1. The ability to fake breeziness when someone asks you “so how is your love life?".

  1. Pretending you understand things like paying bills and doing taxes.

  1. Googling things like how to pay bills and taxes.

  1. How to stalk someone on Instagram without liking any of their photos, it’s just a shame employers don’t see that as a skill worthy to be on your CV. They are wrong.

  1. To master the perfect tut or rolling of eyes to be directed at unruly children and teenagers.

  1. To justify your actions when you act like an unruly child or teenager.

  1. To not care when everyone around you is getting engaged or having babies.

  1. Finding your limits when it comes to alcohol, yes of course you’ll still push you limits from time to time.

  1. To finally come to terms and be happy with you it is you really are and to stop trying to be someone else.

  1. Not caring that you don't know what you are doing, no one else has a clue either.
