May Favourites

So May, like the rest of the year, has gone incredibly quickly. I hope you enjoyed May and did some fun things. It’s been a great month for me; finishing university and being able to relax for a little while. Here are some the things I have been enjoying for the past month.

Imperial Leather Indulgence Rich Moisturising Body Wash
This body wash has been a great find. Using this in the bath or shower has made my skin super soft and the argan oil pearls (nothing like plastic microbeads don’t worry) male it look super sophisticated. I first used Imperial Leather’s body wash with the Funfair Nostalgia scent which I loved but it’s definitely more of an autumn/winter scent so I went for the citrus and white gardenia scent as it’s fresh and floral so it’s perfect for spring.

Yankee Candle Baby Powder
This featured in my Perfect Pamper Evening post and I’ve used it many times, so you might be wondering why it’s in my May favourites. Well firstly because I absolutely love the scent of this candle but I was really impressed with the size. I’ve always gone for the bigger Yankee candles thinking that the smaller ones wouldn’t last but this candle has lasted for ages and the scent carries really well.

Umberto Giannini Grunge Glamour Tousled Salt Spray
I love Umberto Giannini products and this one is fast becoming my favourite. The smell is gorgeous and this is perfect if I’m having a pamper day or if I’ve got ages to get ready for something. After washing my hair I towel dry it a little then spritz this all over my hair then wait for my hair to dry naturally. It gives me perfect effortless looking textured hair.

Japanese Girl Tweezers from Tiger
Tiger stores is not a shop you’d expect to find great beauty products but I grabbed these tweezers (mine have done their famous disappearing act) as they were only £1 and they are too cute. I was pleasantly surprised how well they work not bad for a £1!

Ripped Skinny Jeans from New Look
I have almost been living in these jeans for the past month. They are just so comfortable and the stretchiness means they are really easy to move around in. I love these jeans as they are just easy to style and can be styled in so many different ways, I may do a post on that. (If that’s something you’d like to read let me know down below)

The Peculiar Life of a Lonely Postman by Denis Theriault
This book follows the story of a postman, Bilodo who has fallen in love with a woman after illegally opening and reading her letters to a man which all come in the form of haikus. When the recipient of the woman’ letters dies Bilodo decides to impersonate him and send letters to the woman Bilodo is obsessed with. It’s a really interesting story that I definitely recommend plus the book is very short so it’s perfect for those who don't have a lot of free time.

I hope you enjoyed my May favourites. What things have you been enjoying the past month?

Thanks for reading!
