Put a tad of primer on your cheekbones after you’ve finished your make up. It’ll really brighten up your face and make you look awake, even if you aren’t feeling it.

If you want just a light coverage of foundation try mixing it in with your favourite moisturiser. It’ll give you a light coverage without making you look caked in make up and will hydrate your skin at the same time. Win, win situation.

Heat your eyelash curler with your hair dryer, only do this briefly putting red hot metal on your eyes is never a good idea, just 5 seconds is enough. The little bit of heat will make your curl lasts longer.

Exfoliate your lips with a toothbrush. If you don’t have or want a lip scrub try brushing your lips with a toothbrush it will exfoliate them leaving them feeling super soft.

Don’t rub in your perfume! It’s really tempting but after you’ve sprayed your perfume on your wrists, don’t rub it in. The heat changes the smell of the perfume (there’s probably a scientific way of explaining it that I’ll never understand).

Use a warm cloth and water when washing your face, this opens up the pores so you can get rid of the dirt in them. Them after you’re done splash some cold water on your face to close your pores again.

Don’t wear makeup everyday. This is one is difficult I know but try going one or two days makeup free. Wearing makeup everyday is not good for your skin, you’ll regret it when you get older. Remember to wash your makeup off properly every time you do wear it.
