15 Songs On My iPod Shuffle

I love listening to music, it helps me relax, stay motivated and have fun. Honestly I would be lost without my iPod. Music can get you through tough times and can help make the good times even better, it’s amazing how just listening to a song can transport you back to a memory or can make you think about a specific person.

Recently I heard someone say that listening to all different kinds of music means that you don’t love music. I couldn’t disagree more, I think listening to all kinds of music means you have a better understanding of music. Plus, it helps you discover what music makes you happy, makes you cry or makes feel passionate. Of course it’s good to have that certain type of music or artist that you adore and could listen to all the time (for me it’s Peter Gabriel) but when it comes to music I find having a diverse taste means you get more from music than you would if your taste is limited.

So I’ve decided to put my iPod on shuffle this morning at my part time job (I do deliveries so don’t worry I didn’t have customers that I was ignoring) and share with you the 15 songs that came up. I promise I haven’t cheated.

  1. Ella Fitzgerald- Dream A Little Dream Of Me
  2. Jethro Tull- Weathercock
  3. Wicked Soundtrack- I’m Not That Girl (Reprise)
  4. David Bowie- The Bewlay Brothers
  5. Tchaikovsky- Waltz of the Flowers
  6. Imogen Heap- Headlock
  7. Bastille- Pompeii
  8. Shakira- Hips Don’t Lie
  9. The Beatles- Ticket To Ride
  10. David Byrne- Lazy
  11. Peter Gabriel- The Barry Williams Show
  12. My Fair Lady Soundtrack- Wouldn't It Be Loverly
  13. James Vincent McMorrow- Early In The Morning, I’ll Come Calling
  14. You Me At Six- Time Is Money
  15. Paul Simon- You Can Call Me Al

I hope you enjoyed this post, I’d love to hear what songs came up on your iPod or if we share any of the same music tastes so please leave a comment.

Thanks for reading!
